Here’s the video!

I went to Santa Barbara again, I was going to go east this time but due to the previous days weather it was still a little sketchy. This was the first time I had to actually avoid clouds. On my way out I was planning on flying at an altitude of 4500ft but the clouds were right at that height so I had to descend to stay out of them. When you’re trained to fly by instruments only (IFR – Instrument Flight Rules) then you can fly in the clouds, but for me I have to stay out of them because I fly visually, called (VFR – Visual Flight Rules). It was really cool flying that close to the clouds though, you could almost reach out and touch them. When you’re in a commercial airplane you’re flying around 500 MPH so they really whiz by, but I’m only flying around 110 MPH so you really get a chance to look at them.
